LADS ‘Comping’ Event

Ok guys,with lots going on in this coming year, we have been invited along to this great event. With lots going on for all the family to watch, including rallying, drift racing and hellicopter rides, from classic and vintage cars to modern day rally cars. There will be many car clubs involved, including Jaguar and Lotus.This is also a show and shine event for all you people that want to show off their pride and joy. It will be fully represented by LADS club, with gazebo, LADS banner and the display board some of you may have seen. This is quite a prestigious event, with lots of activities taking place over the weekend within 24 acres of land, which includes 3 rally stages and a drift track.

The event is in Lancaster at a place called Dolphinholme just off Jnc 33 of the M6, please use this link http://www.speedfestnorthwest.co.uk/index.html and take a look at the event and how to get to it, if anyone wants to take part and show their cars.

Cars will have to be in place on the Saturday, arrivals can be from 9.00am no later than 10.30am. There will be a charge of £5 per car with up to two people for the two days, any additions will be extra, but not much. If you want to enter your cars for the show and shine and stand a chance of winning a trophy, there is a charge of £10 for the two days per car to enter the concourse de elegance.

Anyone wanting to do only one day please say so in your post, be it Saturday, Sunday or both and if you want to ‘comp’

If last years was anything to go by this years should be awsome...

Id like to go with family and friends(my cars not worth showin), probably on the Saturday. Whats the score with that?

 

Probably just turn up on the day Dave, and pay at the gate, I will need to make enquieries for admission. But Im sure your car would look just as good on the stand as anyones mate, so get your name down []

It doesnt matter what you drive, as long as its a scoob![] Especially when its an event which involves camping, everyone is there to have a laugh and make friends![]
