Geoff callaghan Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun DEFINITE Okay guys, I will be sending the deposit for the accommodation this week (£184), so to cover my costs I would ask that everyone going pays a deposit of £10 each. This can either be paid at the next LADS meeting or if not attending please PM me and I will provide my postal address in reply. To summarise, we have booked to stay at the Llanddeusant Youth Hostel http://www.yha.org.uk/hostel/llanddeusant apparently pronounced "clandoysunt" :roll: Cost to each is £15 per person per night. There are a total of 26 beds spread across rooms as follows - 1 containing 8 beds, 1 containing 6 beds & 3 containing 4 beds each. Bed linen is included. There are 3 toilets & 2 showers. Communal kitchen with plenty of catering equipment including pots & pans etc. A lounge with an open fire and apparently the hostel also has a "Drying Room" We also have use of a big gas barbecue outside if we want :lol: :lol: I will try and email the same information out to those who do not use this forum. Excellent Kev, superb - will sort the funds. Are we going for Thursday night or leaving early Friday? Also, had a mail from the WRC team, asking why I have not registered to marshall yet? Just to repeat a question. Is some one doing this for us? Or should we book through the RST site.... getting nervous, its only 7 weeks to go, and feel we should at least be registered. Thanks Jim Understood about the registering, I have responded to their email and have tonight been contacted by one of the RST admin team (also a WRGB staffing officer) who assures me that registration on RST will be sorted for us in due course. Current plan is travel down Thursday (that was the majority decision but not everyone will be doing, nearly all though) I am working on getting us in at Myherin on Friday (quite possibly a timing duty) Andy is arranging with the relevant people for Crychan on Saturday (in stage duty) Sunday it is initially planned for Rheola. Though after the 'phone call I have just had they may need to move people around a bit as in general they are very short of marshals apparently.
Hopefully things should now be coming through regarding registration on RST After a number of emails back and forth from Andy & myself to various staffing officers etc. We have received RST emails for approved status for Myherin on the Friday & Crychan on the Saturday. The deposit on the digs has also been paid. Things are starting to move at last More info when we get it! :wink:
Yes emails recieved from RST. Hopefully with the proximity of accommodation and stages we have less travel time and more social time. Looking forward to seeing the LADS WRGB crew again
