We are planning to hold a LADS charity poker tournament which will be a £5 entry fee with £2 going to charity and £3 going into the pot. Ideally we will need a minimum of about 50 entrants but more can be catered for if we have a big uptake. With the game being so popular at the moment I would expect many members already play in one form or another. This particular game will be Texas hold em no limit, £5 buy in, no rebuys, approx 2500 chips, 25/50 blinds with the blinds going up every 20-30 mins. If there are 50 entrants the 1st 3 will receive a cash payout of say £70, £50, £30 with other prizes for 2 or 3 other positions. Provisionally the date is set for Sunday 18th May to be played at the Poachers with a start time of 1:00pm( all to be confirmed. This tourney is open to all members, wives, friends etc. It should make a different and fun day with a lot of laughs along the way and you can even have a drink while your playing.. Children under 12 or so are not recommended as they may be difficult to control while your playing.
