Spent many a day as a kid in the arcades that used to be there. Smells fishy to me, the pier i mean as Fleetwood always did.
sounds dodgy from wat ive heard they wanted to build flats there but were refused as the pier was historic and had great history with the town then all of a sudden it burns down :?: duznt quite seem rite that
the guy who owns apparantley has not got insurance for such an event :roll: but he has been campaigning hard to demolish it but locals have objected......guess he got his own way!!!
Yep, thats totally true there... anyone noticed that the boat has disappeared from Bispham/Fleetwood beach there...
its abit of a mess, had a drive down to see last night....... could see the smoke from where i live, didnt think it was so close!...shocked to see it go, grew up in and around that pier, many a happy time spent as a child......
Yes the burned out pier is Fleetwoods new tourist attraction, will probably get more visiters now than when it was open :lol:
