    Thats true, but there's normally a bit of banter going on or questions about problems with educated answers or interesting things for sale or funny videos in the sump.

    I'm doing 1600 miles a month in my scoob :shock: :shock: :shock: even in the winter months HAGGY
    Am going to have to get a cheap run around or I'll have to start selling my backside at Boston Bogs to wierd men in big black cars. because its costing my an absolute fortune

    just had a quick work out in my head :shock: :shock:

    fuel 400 a month - 4800 a year
    insurance 700 a year
    tyres 400 a year
    oil millers 10/60 every 3 months 240 a year
    gearbox and diff oil twice a year 130
    all the other bit n bobs probably about 400 a year

    7.5k + a year with MOT and TAX :shock: :shock:

    OMG have u got a space in your winter garage next to your ornament for a MY04 WRX haggy :?: :?: :lol: :lol:

    Ive just bought a crappy old astra diesel cos 366 miles a week is getting steep on fuel and i can't take my time as my right foot weighs far too much :lol:

    yeah i know what u mean.... my foot doubles in weight when anyone overtakes me on motorway when im trying to eco drive at 70, its like natural instinct to drop from 5th to 3rd .. 6500 rpm it and blow their windows out with a vortex afterburner :p

    are there a lot of people who don't use the scoobys as there daily drives I am not loaded but before I got mine I thought if I get one I will use it daily .

    yes there are a lot of scooby owners that dont do many miles isnt there HAGGY , track cars, show and shine cars. if you buy one its one of these ones u want to find for sale because they have been loved

    I didn't realize so Many put the car away for winter.

    Quite shocked really. I'd of thought snow was when a scoob comes to its best.

    Sad fact is the price of fuel no imports anymore = less owners out there! :roll: Sad but true! But as summer arrives you tend to get a lot more new and old owners popping up on the Site :wink:
