Thought Id share these pics with you to show you how things get carried away....[][] This is how I bought the ugly beast... Time for a wash before we get started.. And underneath gets a thorough clean.. [:0] What have I done.?!?![] A pic showing the turbo compressor rotated thro 180 degrees... Im trying to minimise the lengths of pipework thro the FMIC.. And here showing the new shorter pipework thro the inner wing.. Also Im altering my inlet manifold to put the throttle body on the front, again in order to cut down on pipework...Turning into a mission this now..[] Heres the pipework ready for the inlet manifold And heres the manufold in place.. I only wanted to put a FMIC on it, work so far includes... FMIC with custom pipework HKS style stainless headers (un-equal length) Custom up-pipe in stainless to allow easier/smoother pipework into/out of turbo Custom brackets to support the turbo in its new place Andy Forrest TD05/18G turbo Inlet manifold doctored for 180 degree inlet Air con removed to allow room for new inlet routing Alternator re-located to where the air-con was Modified Front pulley arrangement due to alti re-location, and to allow room for inlet pipe Lighter alloy crank and alti pulleys Big air filter (cheers Bungle/Carl) with custom pipework (think this custom word is getting over used....) De-cat down pipe, altered to fit new turbo location Thats what we done so far......[] More to follow (much much more...[]) as and when I can, Damn these customers cars...[]
