Whats the difference?

whats the difference in spark plug codes, i have 4 NGK laser platinum PFR7B (boxed brand new) and 4 NGK PFR6B?

does anyone know the difference?

 

gap sizes ones better with modified cars (pfr7bs) and the other with std cars

The number has nowt to do with the gap size, but the heat range of the plug, so a 7 is a colder plug than a 6, if its modded and running more boost you need 7s as the plug runs cooler.

If you check most plugs fresh out of the box they're generally set with a 1mm gap.

 

as above one is better with modded cars and the other with std cars :wink: :wink: :wink:
