    not another scoob

    fancied a change from the noise and bumpy ride in my last scoob

    Oh bugger - I thought I got here quick and my rear view mirror was clear. :D

    Off shopping tommorrow for some Tartan slippers :lol:

    Thats a nice motor Andy 8)

    That road is an awsome drive with great scenery

    Did Inverness to Fort William a couple of years and kept having to stop to take pictures

    thanks for the comments guys - I must say it felt weird gettin rid of the scoob at first but the new car has so many other great features.
    including
    comfort - I was told Volvo seats are the comfiest - and I have to agree - especially when they are being heated.
    driving position - higher up but still very car like
    acceleration - not scooby fast = but 0 to 60 in 8.5secs feels quick enough in a 2 tonne lump of metal
    economy - the book says upto 50mpg - I'm seeing 35 at moment but I've only clocked 400 miles as yet so it will be a few thousand before it loosens up

    will pop down to a meet early in new year with flame suit at the ready
