Defo up for the Gisburn stage as not far away - my uncle used to rally in Gisburn forest back in the good old days - superb nights out []

 

Ohh, I think Ill be off to see some of that too...

 

Im up for sitting in a freezing Gisburn forrest, in the middle of November.[]

 

Well I have a gas stove and plenty of camping gear here []

 

This looks good. Definately gonna try and get to this event, it may even be possible to do Leyland before going to Gisburn. But given the choice I would go to Gisburn, certainly for the chance to see legends such as Mikkola and the "real & original" Stig (Blomquist)in the forests.
Maybe meet up with some of the LADS there?

Regarding this event, has anyone seen this weeks Motorsport News? (13/10/04)
"Steve Perez is to contest this event in a Porsche 911" to take on Mikkola & Blomquist.
Also more modern 4 wheel drive & turbo charged cars are to be allowed to enter to bolster the entry list . . .
Sounds like an even more exciting prospect![^]

Just a suggestion - Are we up for meeting away from the event (location to be determind / not posted) and leaving a few cars behind to save on parking problems / costs at the event ?

I presume its Harwood Dale, a commonly used North Yorkshire stage near Dalby forrest.

When I viewed this page (of the rally website) on the 21/09 this issue of no spectators was not posted up, hence making arrangements to go. Don understand why (Hacked off now!)
Any alternatives?
