  4. Hello & welcome to LADS [:)]

What is it fitted to at the moment ?
Probably best just to post the numbers on the label or a clearer picture of the label.

It looks like a STI ECU from what I can see, and that WONT be compatable due to the higher rev range of the STI.

If your specifically after a Prodrive ECU its worth considering that you may also need to decat your centre section & change the Intercooler pipes for Samco / Prodrive (to handle the increased pressure) to get the best gains from the map.

Thanks Chris! I already have a decated centre section and prodrive hoses on the intercooler !!! just wondered if this is a prodrive ecu??? its fitted to a my99 uk turbo 2000 apparently ???

    thanks John.

  6. Its hard to tell off your pictures - what EXACTLY is printed on the label ?

Should be ok if its running a UK 99 without problems.

    There are alternatives BTW.

PPP ECUs from MY97-MY00 are labelled STi.

If its currently in a UK MY99/00 and the cam/crank wires have not been swapped on that car then I think its fairly certain to be a PPP ECU rather than a STi5/6 ECU.

If it is the correct ECU don’t forget to get the keys security codes changed to match the ECU, other wise you just plug it in and away you go, also the olive in the boost solenoid pipe needs changing if I remember correctly.

MY99/00 Doesn have keycoded immobiliser, only UK/Euro/Oz spec MY97/98s had that. MY99/00 ECUs are plug and play, unless it is a jap spec ECU and then the car won start because as I said above the cam/crank sensor wires are reversed.

I have now fitted my Prodrive Ecu and the boost pressure is now showing 1.16 bar on my Secs Monitor but i dont know how accurate this is ??? it may be just a spike in boost !!!
