### PLEASE READ HERE BEFORE POSTING PICTURES!!! ###

RULES FOR POSTING PICTURES.

Several people have asked about posting pics, so we just wanted to lay down a few rules to keep things tidy!

Please try to stick to following:

- Max size of the image should be 640 x 480 pixels, this will keep the whole image on the page, maintain reasonable download speed and prevent users from having to scroll across the page.

(Photobucket now has an automatic resize facility in the edit features, select from the dropdown list.)

- if you are showing off your car from a million angles, use IMG tags only on first (couple) of pics and link the others

- but if your showing a progress of some work or something technical, you can use IMG tags on all the pics but please adhere to image size

"Ok guys here goes, how to upload pictures.

When posting pictures on the forum, first you must have a hosting site ie http://www.photobucket.com. Then you need to upload your pics from your pc onto photobucket. Once you have opened an account and logged in, at the top right hand side is a section that says UPLOAD IMAGES AND VIDEO'S, you need to click on this.

This will then take you into your own pc,where at the top it will say LOOK IN, click on the arrow pointing down and this will take you into the part which holds your pictures.

Once you have chosen the picture you want, left click on it, that will then put it into the box underneath which says FILE NAME. Click on the box to the right which says OPEN, this will then put it in your PHOTOBUCKET account in the box that says BROWSE next to it.

You then need to click on SUBMIT, this will now start to download from your PC to your PB account.

Once the picture has finished downloading (This may take a few seconds) You can then post the picture on the forum

THIS IS DONE AS FOLLOWS
Before posting up your picture go into EDIT which can be seen above your picture and check the size of it, anything above 640 x 480 needs to be resized to those sizes if you are posting a direct IMG. All you do for that is to click on EDIT and resize to the size given (there is now an automatic resize feature to do this, see above post)
Then the next step is to wave your cursor over your picture, this will drop down options below your photo LEFT CLICK on the box that says IMG, then copy it.
Once you have done that, go back into LADS as if you were going to REPLY to something (where you want to put your picture) All you need to do now is PASTE your picture where you want as the option on PB allows you to post direct without clicking on the IMG option at the top.

All the above looks a lot, but once you get the hang of it, it really is quite easy folks

This should then have posted your picture up on the forum"
