Yes I tried them...... and eventually, after headlight boosters and other bulbs, gave in and bought a HID kit. They are a good increase, and admittedly, with my headlight booster kit were a lot closer to the brightness/colour I was looking for. IMHO I wish I had spent the £80 on the HID kit in the first place, as I probably was close to that with all the other things I tried.
