New Exhaust

HI, I plans to mount a new exhaust, louder
I currently have Prodrive exhaust, which has a 2.5 inch, the new exhaust will be 3 Inch, car was mapped and 19 February I go on the dyno to check the power of the car. after replacing the exhaust may occur any changes in my previous map ?? I do not want to blow up the engine. THX

 

Is it a cat back exhaust or full exhaust that you are buying ?

If its a turbo back (full) system it would be wise to consider a further map to be safe.

 

exhaust from the turbo has 3 inche, later still are two sections and they are the 2.5 inch, so I bought the second and third sections 3inch, the third section finish with a silencer

 

Is the car on standard map or already been mapped?

As it will just be a map TWEAK (and therefore wont cost nearly as much as your original mapping session), it would be recommended to get the best out of them. Are you thinking of any other further upgrades????

If this is a full 3" all the way through, including at the flange couplings, I'd definitely check the mapping BEFORE thrashing it on a RR.

I ring guys from Dyno,He said that nothing should happen,if I had before-through muffler, now 3 inch will be better breathed, but I have an appointment on February 19 to check scoobie on dyno
