    Only ONE week to go!

Be sure to have a look at the prizes on display at NBO 12 in the tent there are some crackers! And we have a few still to come with a bit of luck! There are some unique items to bid for as I am sure you will agree!

The Children’s Air Ambulance will have a team of four people with us on the day helping to collect funds and sell the raffle tickets and of course manage all things charity wise led by Faye , please visit their display and help spread the word of the great work they do for all of the UK.

Please remember all funds raised on the day go to ONE charity which this year is the Children’s Air Ambulance and NO others. This is a legal condition of the event insurance amongst others so please can we have no repeat of last year’s NBO when some people decided to start collecting for their own causes , as noble and worthy as that may be we can`t condone it I`m afraid. Many Thanks.

It sadly seems that Car Ben Fibre Creations will not be with us on the day.

The official NBO 12 list on the Scoobynet page has been updated to reflect the true attendance figures we have with the clubs added in blocks, at the time of writing this we have 51 spaces available so come on folks get your names added and help us hit the magic 300. Please spread the word and help us maintain the Subaru community tradition.

Only seven days to go folks so we hope you are all planned and ready? Any questions please get in touch ASAP, we look forward to seeing you all at Lightwater valley next Sunday 29th June! The trophies are looking very very good!

A repeat of the nitty gritty announced last month:

The entry donation remains the same again this year = £10. With all proceeds going to The Children’s air Ambulance. As will the proceeds of the charity raffle and auction which will be held on the day. Faye and her team will be with us on the day collecting for this very worthy cause.

The gates open to the public at 1000 hours and we will start judging at 1000 hours also. But can we ask all clubs to be aiming to be on the field and set up as early as possible. From 0730 onwards via the usual tradesman’s entrance. We have a lot to get through.

Classes for the ring to be judged are as follows:

    1. Classic Imprezas
    2. Bug Eye Impreza
    3. Blob Eye Impreza
    4. Hawk Eye Impreza
    5. Hatch and Saloon Impreza 2008MY+
    6. All other Subaru Models

Judging will run throughout the day and will be managed by Gus the ring master and manager of the team of judges who include Andy Rae , Steven Wood , Rob Ostle and more to be confirmed.

We will have another competition this year which will be reflecting the transition of Subaru as a classic performance marque = The Northern Best Original or NBO Test.

This will be done via a self-assessment questionnaire which will then be validated and verified by the NBO team to see who has the most original Subaru and wins the trophy on the day.

The club stands will also be judged by the clubs themselves as per last year:

    ONE CLUB == ONE VOTE

We have 11 clubs who will each vote on the TOP FIVE only by visiting each stand and awarding marks subjectively. Obviously clubs don`t mark their own stands. Then the marks will be validated and verified by the NBO team.

The sheets are self-explanatory and we want to keep things nice and simple and the clubs can design their stands exactly as they wish.

Trophies are awarded for the top five club stands.

This will be completed by 1300 hours at the latest as per the NBO test.

We are once again proud to have our superb Master of ceremonies Martin Reay in charge of proceedings from behind the microphone with his tried and tested professional media expertise backed up with Subaru knowledge.
