toy if you like loud 8) 8) 8) if not bung needed awsome backbox 8) didnt have mine long if wasnt much motorway driving i would still have mine
Well the nurspec was loud, so that's going back to its owner. What's a bit quieter with a deep sound, the miltek was too drone/raspy
Excuse the size of the pic, posting off my phone, will change in the morning. Generally good condition bar the letters. So cleaned the box and removed the tar. Then prepped the letters and masked up loosely. Mixed some colour up and sprayed on. Then with 2000 paper I blocked the colour back, and then gave them a coat of clear. Tomorrow I will finish polishing it and bring the lacquer edge back too. Result so far Jake.
toy i neally bought this myself if its from the auction site , thought a tad to much money he wouldnt budge nice buy post some sounds when on 8)
It was strong money, but when it's rare there's not much you can do. It was off eBay, a guy off Scoobynet tried to sell it me for 400 when he didn't even own it.
I love the look of these back boxes but having heard sound clips on Youtube i think they sound pants, so on a Legacy they will sound twice as pants lol Can't wait to see and hear it on yours 8) Btw, its now 4-4
well its on.... sounds pants, im going to try it with me resonated centre section, as at the moment its decat, stright through ive removed the small restricitve bung in the rear too, it sounds nice enough but at 3-4k theres a really raspy/rattle sound any way pics IMAG2557 by cuprajake1, on Flickr IMAG2558 by cuprajake1, on Flickr IMAG2561 by cuprajake1, on Flickr jake
Certainly looks good 8) The armchair Doctor in me, diagnoses that you and Kev have a definite extreme case of Exhaust OCD
just fitted the resonated center and its made a massive difference, its got rid of that straight through rasp, sounds just a bit louder than say a prodrive now, so happy with that, its a compromise tbh, i would like more sound, but the genome is in keeping with the look im going for. jake
finally got round to doing the geo on the spec c. since i got it the steering wheel has always been off centre, then last week we had to remove the camber bolts to change the cv boot, i forgot to save the before measurements but iirc the front camber was equal at about -0.41 but the toes were something like 0.30 and -0.15 at the front, the rear only one wheels toe was out, heres my final setup, not too extreme and this is the maximum camber i could get equally, the nearside would actually go to -1.10 IMAG2613 by cuprajake1, on Flickr jake
