Lol mine is only £148 for 6 months but need 2x Good Year F1's and a mot in the same week so I feel your Pain m8
I think it's one of the main reasons why less people are buying Imprezas, Evos and M3s etc. Was around £230 a year for my Blobeye. Cracking car that, I'm humming and haa-ing about getting one in wagon form as a second car (daily driver) or getting a Leggy Spec B as I've got a lil 'un on the way...
How can they justify charging me £470 for my Hawkeye that does 2K miles per year, and then charge about 1/3 of that for a crappy little diesel that does 25K miles per year?
Mines due too but it will only be getting 6 months, which at £253 for the 6 months is still steep!!! But not going to tax it when I dont use it through winter
Just done 6 months on mine, insurance was due same time (£560) and then i got the dreaded e-mail off Dave for membership
And the worst thing is the state of the Roads never seen them so bad! But would be even worse if we had a little black box charging per mile but sending you a speeding ticket every time you push on the fun pedal. Sounds crazy but could be the future
tax on my sport scoob 12 months for £220 insurance on my sport scoob £140 per month - ouch state of the roads is why we got 4x4's - rallying capability helps a lot
you prolly dont live in a town centre either - says a lot for living outta town............... i just looked a dvla website for my sportwagon and under vehicle emmisions it says 0 what is this all about ?????
sat here reading how much you are all paying for insurance I have a Fiesta now 1.3 Im 42 full licence totally clean and I pay £183 per mnth on my insurance for that (hence the reason Im no longer a scooby owner)
now that's expensive,i'd defo have to shop around for a better deal. it must be a real downer when people who can't drive the car they love.
