LADS RR V1 - 14th October 2006

Its time again for one of our longest standing events to be rerun !

This will be the 6th running of a LADS Rolling Road event and not wanting to break the winning formula it will be run at Prosport on Saturday the 14th October 2006.

The onus once again will be on having a great day out rather than an outright power competition, so food, advice, engine checks etc etc etc will be available throughout the day.

Cost is £40 per car with £5 of that going to the LADS sponsored charity - Macmillan Nurses.

Open to members & non members.

I'll be asking for a deposit of £20 to be paid no later than the LADS meeting in October, anyone missing this deadline leaves their space open to people on the reserve list.
Anyone who pays their deposit then can't make it - IF your place is taken by someone else I will return it - otherwise it goes as compensation for Pete who lay's on the food & staff for your place.


If you fancy a great day out as well as knowing how your cars performing (remember approx 6 cars have had their engines saved by undiagnosed faults being found as part of the run) then simply copy the list & add your name.


In order to keep this thread tidy, just copy and paste the last post adding your details, once this has been seen for a day or two, I will delete it, leaving the up to date list in place.

GWS just post up if you want to meet at TT for 8am - i'll park on fillin station forecourt
EDMY, by my calcs, it twil be 8:10 at BB - can meet on roundabout at the entrance road (as i turn left off south bound exit)
Whitworthf - not sure where best to meet u ? poss M61 Bolton south (1 after Reebok) if u r comin from Wigan, u could go through westhoughton and we could meet up at Chequerbent roundabout on A6 ? would be 8:20 by then :wink:

Just rec confirmation that Warren (the photographer) will be there.
Details are as per his E mail below.
Please keep this as a separate matter / contract between yourself & Warren. We (LADS & Prosport) will aid in collection / delivery issues where posiible, but payment / your requirements etc are with Warren and not with LADS / Prosport.
That said, warren IS a top bloke and has many satisfied customers from previous RR events - its just to much for me to sort his orders as well as run the day itself.

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you
Here are a few prices as requested for this saturday
at Prosport

1. Framed 10x8 print as done before, with R/road print
out and mount etc - £60.00 (Finished frame size
500x400mm in Platinum finish)

2. 10x8 Print on its own -£22.00

3. 9x6 inch print £15.00

All prints are on matt/silk finish photographic paper.

I will have order forms on the day.

Money payable on the day if possible.
Once the frames are made up I will arrange to meet one
of you with them, as I would prefer not to send in the
post.

BTW - Sorry for all the deletion of posts etc - I'm just trying to keep the thread on "topic", so that people know whats happening with convoy's / the day itself. Feel free to start new threads with examples of RR days etc
