What a great weekend we had with many interesting discussions and silhouettes. Great weather nearly all weekend.

It was a bit of a stressful and tiring weekend but we managed to get through it.

To try and get a break from all the stress we went on a Pooley bridge pub crawl.

Kids loved paddling in the river.

Spent some time playing a few sports, Rugby, football and then finally a quick game of cricket... or at least we thought it would be quick.

'Come on Jim, you have a bat ' was the call
    'oh ok'
'I've not held a cricket bat for a good few years'
oh well we will take it easy on you.
Half an hour later and 52 runs, and that was only because he let us get him out.
    Time for a break.
'You did quite well there Jim'

What did you forget to mention Jim before we started playing .....

Just one of Jim's big hits that went a bit further than expected

I know it has been said that nobody got injured but thats not quite true.

Steve had a small issue with the car. Discussion followed.

Quick repair began, Steve carrys out repairs with the same tools I use.

Then in a freak accident, Steve ran himself over in his own car

Luckily for us it wasn't to serious and DJ Tunnel still managed to get those decks smoking for some afternoon tunes.

Like in the hottest deserts it does tend to get a bit chilly at night but like true brits we stuck it out in flip flops and t-shirts... well almost

One of the ravers left over from DJ Tunnels afternoon set.

We think Nick may still be in the field as he was frozen solid although he did try to stay wrapped up.

    Memorable moments

Friday night silhouette of John 'Sniper' or the Aardvark as he will be known of from know on getting a bit of a knee trembler in his tent.

Just about everybody snapping Kate and Doms guy ropes, sorry

Steve drinking his freezing cold Cider at night in his winter coat, hat and gloves.

Waking up this morning to the sight of Nigel and Yvonne hanging onto their Gazebo for dear life.

Jim showing us all how to fly a kids plane, lots of analysis, redistributing the weight, correct launch height and area..... must have gone at least 3 feet.

Mel, trying to kill Phil with Raid fly repellent.

Jim and Gill trying to find the campsite on Friday night, Gill had the postcode Jim just needed the name.... Jim its called Parkfoot ... not Foot and mouth.

Lots of laughs and great company ... role on next year.

Special thanks to everyone who helped me and Aud put our tent down this morning and special mention to Kate and Dom, who although had the smallest tent that was down (and in the bin) within minutes stayed behind in the rain to help just about everybody put their tents down. :D

Notice none of you Ian, so for those who thought he was missing in action, here you go:

Ian in various stages of erection, obviously Yvonne had something to laugh at ???

Kids of ALL ages enjoying a bit of paddling

And then it all just got too much.....

Jim, trying to break the laws of gravity...

Steve struggling to get it up

Master chef in the making ???

Now on a serious note - fantastic trip with great company and good weather.... well almost all weekend!
Looking forward to next year already, maybe the tent will just about have dried out !!

    One of Jim's contributions to the 'things you wish you'd never said' book;

Jim goes back to tent at night to make sure the bed was inflated to the correct pressure, to +/- 0.001 psi...

    Call from inside the tent:

"Gill, have you got a minute?"

Gill goes to help, all goes quiet....

Jim: "Can you put your hand on it and see if it's any harder...???"

Beer and wine spits out from the rest of the group........

Jim, under his breath: "I really wish I'd never said that......."

    Magic moments.

Had a fantastic time, hot cold, sober, drunk, it didnt matter, the banter was great. I dont think I have had the mickey taken so much, and really enjoyed it.

Great weekend, great company - great fun.

Thanks to all that organised and made it possible.
