As mentioned at the last couple of meets we intend to rerun last years Buttertubbs run for LADS 3rd anniversary.
The date for the event will be the Sunday 19th November and as last year we will be stopping halfway for a bite to eat.
This has been described as clarksons favourite driving road in Britain and with a little alteration by LADS gives you an ideal opportunity to test your driving skills.

We must point out that due to the nature of this event it is not recommended as a family event and sick bags and a clear head is suggested along with a strong stomached co pilot.
Myself and Chris will be doing a recce before the actual run just to confirm last years details still remain the same.

Please add your name below to take part in this event and I will contact you in the next couple of weeks to take your order for food at the stop point.

Any questions please email me direct at rb5wrc@aol.com.

This thread will be moved to the members section nearer the event date were further details will be added.

This was a great day out last year and i'd love to do it again but with new wheels and 35mm tyres over them bumps, i'll have to give it a miss.

Hope you all enjoy it, got some great pics too last year.

ps. Don't forget to put that notorious bump in the notes this year that was missed from last years notes, caught a few people out if i remember

  13. Put your old wheels on you wuss
BTW - I've a spare set of 17's if you want to borrow them for the day.

The "bump" will be written in, if (and its a big if) the Evo picks it up a XX MPH ;)

know what you mean Kev - I suffered last year running Tein lowering springs AND 18's with 215x35x18 toyos. Might as well have got the missus to smack me all day with a cricket bat. Car kept bottomin out and some rather unpleasant noises comin from underside  Car that is !
Gone back to 225 x 40 x 18's Oh my god what a difference in ride quality. Still nice and rigid but rides the bumps higher and smoother and my mud flaps dont scrape any more :D just need a co pilot daft enough and i will be there :)
