    Hi all,

While doing a service on Saturday, I noticed that the top mount intercooler as got a lot of debris in the fins, little stones and lots of other little delights

Any advice on cleaning this please? I was thinking of using an Hoover?

    Thanks

Dont hold me to this but wont a pressure washer do it ??? seal the holes up and blast it ???? They get wet anyway so water shouldnt harm it .

I wouldn't pressure wash as you will bend the fins. Tooth pick and hoover on a sunny afternoon is your best bet

When you used your method, where did all the debris go?

Small tiny screwdriver or plastic utensil thingy, to straighten your fins

You need that wire stuff with with the fluff on the outside , that would work a treat, can't think of the name of it

A man not too far from here once suggested Bilberry Juice for cleaning the alloy Intercooler, can't do much (if any) damage with Bilberry
