bought this : problem is dont think its gonna fit in my bay do i need some kind of adaptor to make it fit ??
You're looking in the wrong place it fits in here: http://www.nowrecycle.co.uk/wheeled-lit ... ml?image=0
 ^^^^ Does that adaptor plate in your pic not bolt to your maf sensor then the filter to the adaptor? Looks like your ABS might be in the way a little so you may have to rip that out as its not needed anyway
corrine look on this item on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HKS-SPF-Air-Filte ... 3cae03e273 the bit before maf u will need as fits better its the alloy bit hope that helps
lmao your so polite andrew, corrine it will fit where the induction box is on a slight angle or as i told you previously get some more pipe and put it into the wing  but will defo fit there instead of box just angle the elbow
Hi Corrine, I ran one of those on the 22 for a while. They are tricky to fit without interferring with other stuff/bonnet due to the larger diameter. I would not suggest it be fitted in the wing, you stand a chance of dragging water through in bad weather. After popping a couple of mafs the one I have sits on a shelf in my garage and the 22 now runs more bhp/lbsft with a standard panel filter. Sorry it's another negative-ish post.
thats ok just I have heard so many different things these last couple days since I got one and through going to shows and looking at scoobs there seemed to be loads of scoobs running with induction kits and all seem fine im kinda stuck what to do now to be honest I wanted it for the noise
Not so you'd notice Corrine, and really only at high revs when driving? A good dv would give a better sound perhaps. The filter you have tends to make more of a 'rumble' really and it's not that loud, sorry. It's also going to suck in all the hot air from under the bonnet btw. Not good in summer.
