ive changed the turbo, replaced ALL the piping! fitted the front mount, had a different ecu in, 3 actuators, avc-r, an it still overboosts.

surely, with all the impreza owners on this site, at least 1 person must know what it is. its doing it far worse than last time. 1st,2nd,3rd, 4th? any gear. fuel cuts? almost instantly?

can a maf cause it?

As you have changed all the pipework u may be missing the restrictor it needs, and also combined with the open neck this mayb pushin back on the wastegate penny causing it to stay shut thus overboosting

ahh, ive fitted the restrictor this morning, scalsey got a MRT book, based all around the wrx, they fit a seperator in the down pipe so the impellor flow doesnt effect waste gate flow, i understand what your saying. ive just never heard this before? :wink: blimin irritatin, was planning on puttin in ma 440cc's today at speedflash's, av kinda lost intrest now :lol:
