Grizedale 2010 3rd & 4th December

Rough Directions . .

Assuming you are heading for Car park A High Barn to watch at Moor Top?

1. M6 North- Leave at J36 A590 towards Barrow.
2. Bear left to stay on Barrow rd to Newby Bridge
3. Bear left again at roundabout and just after turn sharp right over stone bridge - Follow signs for Hawkshead. http://www.bing.com/maps/default.aspx?v ... gyMjQ0NDU3

4. About half a mile before Hawkshead village turn sharp left signed "Grizedale Forest" Narrow steep and winding lane!
Follow this uphill, afet 10 mins 'ish you should see stage access point on right (No parking here unless you have disabled badge)
Turn for Parking is about 100 yards further up on left. Will cost you £5 per car and usually includes programme. (Suggest you fill a car and split cost)
PLEASE NOTE- Parking is on the side of a forest track which can obviously get busy, muddy and snowy. The later you get there the further you will have to walk back to the stage!!

If you wish you can follow the main road round to Windermere and Ambleside and back down to Hawkshead but this takes longer.

If the BP at the tickled trout is out of action - I guess the next obvious place would be further north on the way there which would be Forton Services North of Preston, South of Lancaster...

How about Forton Services at 8.00am on Saturday morning?

I will be bringing a couple of mates, I will also need to leave lunchtime-ish as I have visitors coming - needing picking up from Preston after 14.00...

Gutted just got homw from a very snowy brighton only to find that im not going to grizedale rally not to worry we just gunna have to start the countdown to Northwest stages now
