Looking at getting a Scooby again, but as a second car this time. Who's running a Scooby as a second car? Do you run it as a weekend car or just 6 months of the year? What's your daily drive? I need something fairly economical and reliable, so looking for ideas. Does it bring the insurance down with having two cars and doing less miles in each of them? Thanks in advance!
2008 Golf 1.9 tdi match as daily ticks all the boxes Scuby gets driven once every other month insurance wise my broker Gary moley does a superb job both cars are fully comp for under £1000 with the wife insured on the golf aswell Your price on insurance can go down with a limited mileage on the policy my scooby is on max 4000miles a year wish I could do that many miles in mine lol!!
Still have the Greenwagon after 17 years and it now does under 1500 miles per year Just shows and taken out to wax
limited mileage under 3000 dose bring the insurance down. But mine wanted a photo every year of the mileage on my 300zx. As for the second car it depends on your age and no claims on your second policy iv got two with over 10 years on. hope that helps
