My car choices were supposed to be ferrari 360, Lambo and the mighty atom. Anyway when i arrived there was a 458, so as its supposed to be the best car in the world right now i had to have it!! Any way the lambo was good in the corners but in the straights i reckon the forester would be able to keep up. inside it justr looked like a a6 audi which was a bit of a dissapointment. Then it was the 458! all i can say is it was like going from a welly to a ballet shoe. the tiptronic box is just epic no upshift lull just linear power right through the box and in the corners it was just flat you literally pointed it at the apex and pressed on, through the corners other than the atom nothing came near it you could out brake and out corner all others. apart from that its just an engineering masterpiece and its bloody beautiful thing and it sounds fantastic!! The atom! were do i begin, so direct in everyway. no abs or traction control just raw driving. the acceleration was mind blowing and with it carrying so little weight it just pulled like a train. was very lively into the corners and you had to remember to keep the throttle on a little or she got very tail happy. it is how imagine every track day car should be!! anyway if i win the lottery im having a 458, it is that good of a car just engineering perfection.
the ferrari just blew my mind, it is just a masterpiece of engineering and the sound it makes full chat is amazing you will love it!!
i was at elvington the other week in the gtr. also been in the gallardo a few years back as well. really good place but its over far too quick !!
