Cant help but think who would pay 40 grand for a small hatchback? Seen 2 this last week!!! When you think of what you could buy for the same money!! (personally id have a second hand RS4 or S5 convertible)
My mate has an S3 and is currently in the process of modding it, but it is in black, or dark grey. It is fast but just boring, no drama, noise or anything. I usually like the subtle Q car sleeper thing, but NO for the S3
Didn't pay anywhere near that for mine, new. Not many RS3s around, was following what I thought was one the other day and obliterated him as the road opened up. Was a regular S3 with badges... Looked at an RS3 but didn't feel as quick as the Cosworth. Don't agree with the general apathy shown towards both cars by the press.

I'm sceptical as to whether that 3.7 second time is possible in the real world. I would have thought something around the 4.5 mark is more likely. What I find impressive is the surge 60-100mph. I would have thought a sub 10s to 100mph would be easier to manage than a sub 4 to 60.
