Just been advised its my air pumps that are triggering the EM light, and its form to replace both. They get affected by rust, and stick. A suggestion of the delete kit has been made, http://www.flatironstuning.com/p-1662-c ... e-set.aspx Looking into its application - I have the following questions.. 1) The EML light will be on perminantly? 2) It will need mapping out? 3) Its an emmisions control device and will affect the emissions at MOT? How badly? ie as bad as a decat? If I want to replace the parts with OEM, I have to order at £242 each plus Vat, and its a massive difference in cost, even with a remap also... Any advice appreciatted - thank you
jim are you on about the egr valves or the main air pump. best option is to get rid of them all :wink:
Well - its both really - currently all are disconected - so essentially I will just need to purchase the blanking kit, then have the EGR swtiched off in the ECU. Is that an Andy Car job? Spoke with the guys at Cotcomp again and they basically say what you say BRi!!! - thanks fella!!
