Deliberated if to put this in projects area but I think I'll share the "experience" with all. 3 years ago saw me buy this average but reasonable condition 93 classic Punto for my wife. However she soon got the modding bug and proceeded as follows. within 1 week of buying it she decided to put some designer dints on the bonnet. This was quite easily achieved by running calmly but quickly into the car in front Soon bored with this one off design she decided to smooth the rear arches Just one for now to make sure the desired effect was achieved Now if you want to create this effect on your car it's quite difficult to do, I'll run through it step by step 1) reverse out of works car park 2) hit gate post and get stuck on it 3) attempt to move away from gate post whilst steering the wrong way back into it to create the dragged line effect. Result as below Next was to try to create a similar effect to the bonnet but on the door This was a little easier than the smoothed wing effect Just pull into the path of another car on a mini roundabout (not the best picture but by now you shoud be getting the idea) As this is an ongoing process she's pretty keen on adding body mods on almost a weekly basis so I'll keep things posted. She's also accelerating the natural aging process by not washing it, easily resulting in the peeled effect on the bumper :wink:
LOL - must be a woman thing - girlfriend reversed into not 1 but 2 bollards splitting the rear bumper into 3 seperate pieces and someone nice pushed the whole passenger side in at tesco's - thanks!! only let her drive the scooby 3 times so far.
