You need to find out where the fliuid is going. Top the reservoir up and get someone to pump the clutch while you look for the leak.

Not expensive. You can just get a second hand one for not a lot of money. Thats if it is the slave cylinder to blame.
Is the return spring still on there? I had a problem with the slave cylinder recently. It was letting air pass and the pedal would not return....
