Has anybody had a go at removing the scratches that we get on the Classics front windows?
I've just bought a scratch removal kit to have a go, we'll see how it goes

  2. You also need to eliminate the cause as well as polish the glass, or the scratches will just return. If you pop off the door card the runner guides are easily removed (one bolt for each). You can then clean the felt pads that cause the scratches (the pads get small pieces of grit etc. embedded in them that act like sand paper on the glass).
Easier to do than write an explanation - I'll show you at the next meet if you like.

    Hi Chris
I changed the brushes a few years ago, but I'm justing doing some bits of titvation on the 22 before I put it into hibernation for the winter. Just wondered if anybody had tried it. I've had a little go and it's better but it's not a quick process
