Really happy since I fitted the coilovers a while ago to the hawk but when the car stopped I used to feed the rear coilovers 'moving'. Nothing was broken but the previous rear rubber top mount set up seemed not strong enough and flexed. So I had a look at fitting rear camber plates to tighten things up. Old spring set up and rubber top mount seat for the damper Component parts - cleaned, prepared and replacement rear springs freshley powder coated BC rear camber plates to replace the rubber top mounts - thanks Bri for the advice and guidance Rebuilt ready to go back on the car Inside car top and the gaps underneath filled with silicone to make sure no water ingress into the car. Final look fitted Car feels tight all round now and much better and I know a little more about the hawk 8)
Very interesting thread. I went the other way last winter, found the rear to soft and couldn't stand the noise with the solid top mounts on my AST's, went to a harder spring rate and group n rubber top mount.
