I don't mind the look of that actually, but the only way Subaru are going to help sales is to get back into rallying That's what started this whole phenomenon off
Agree Dave if it arrives in the U.K like that. Price seems good as well. The main problem I.M will now have with there target market is customer trust. So many of those who have bought new performance cars have moved away following warranty problems, disappearing dealers and chocolate engines. Sadly I think the top level rallying days might stay in the past. Its all so frustrating
Here's a video of it in action, http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ToIfIMQ_I've Personally I think it looks fantastic, however I think it is very underpowered, imprezas are no longer seen as a fast car like they used to, this has 305hp and nowadays little hatchbacks have a similar power. I think Subaru should be competing power wise against the M3's and RS4's etc. Anyone agree? Or disagree?
I like it styling wise but at £29k plus the mods to finish it off you could get a cossie or build a very nice car
think it looks very nice. as for the lack of power well its not all about power for me . A lot more to a Scooby than outright grunt. its how it drives and looks and makes you feel. 305 bhp isn't too bad is it. im sure there will plenty of add ons for the guys who want more power.
I like the looks, but agree on power etc. But target market for M3 RS4 and AMGs are totally diff to Subaru
new rules in wrc are gunna limit everything to 1600cc so scoob would either have to build hot hatches which the power figures suggest it should be or they're gunna have to find another way of marketing this. hot hatches with the same power are going for nearly half the money of the scoob too and then add in insurance and well yeah............
