Occasionally my water temp goes quite high and the heater blows cold air, then after a few mins the heater blows red hot and the temp gauge goes back to normal. I've topped up the coolant twice in about 6 weeks. Any idea whats up???
Sounds like your coolant system is air locked; I had the same problem with my Classic after changing the rad, thought I had a coolant leak because I had to keep topping the water up! I've been wrong before though :wink:
