as some off you may know i have my own small electrical company, just before xmas i was contracted by the chill factore to carry out an installation for a new attraction but i was not allowed to tell anyone what i was doing as they wanted to keep it a secret until todays launch. we had to run new 3 phase supplys the the top and bottom of the slope (260m run of 4 core 16mm armerd cable to the top from the mains) this was for the winchs plus fit all the control panels and fan supplies and then do all the electrics on the catch ramp at the bottom, all this in secret and at tempratures of -2.4c. please see the link the video is not very good but you get the idea http://www.chillfactore.com/snow-fun/avalanche
i applied to be a test rider on it,but missed the cut due to being in austria skiing,watched the video of it earlier.its not cheap to do.think id prefer to do the sky diving next door for the sameprice
