boot problem *****update**** again

    take your striker plate off the inside and see then , if it closes then file the holes up in plate so the striker plate sit's lower like our chris seid it's the catch thats catchin ..just take the 2 bolts out and try it .... :roll:

    will try that ian but going seeing cuprajake on thurs hes got some look at suggestions aswell so will try this while there

    well been to jake and we both had a look over and he said it def has been damaged :( :( so while i was there i took my original boot and left to be re sprayed 8)

    not happy so next port of call the supplier of the boot

    Dint really need to input on this. What Neil said was 100% what I thought.


    The boot is actually damaged. You can see the dents. We had a quick mess with the lock, tried an elongated holes one side came down the other was still bad though.

    End result. Use the original boot.


    Think it was a logistics thing as to who he came too lol

    well fitted my original boot today with thanks to jake for painting it as you can see the boot fits nicely :D :D

    well you all know me and boots well i have come across a hawkeye boot all badged missing the lock and i have one to fit so next i am going to take off the sti spoiler and fit to the hawk one with the lock i already have SO NO DREMMELIN FOR ME LOL
    this i will be doing next weekend so my original boot sprayed by cuprajake with the badges on will be for sale
    looking for £60 and that includes the hawkeye wrx spoiler + boot

    IF ANYBODY INTERESTED THEN BEFORE BUYING LET ME FIT THIS ONE FIRST YOU KNOW ME AND BOOTS LOL
