Rachel and I will be approaching from Barrow, so is there a rasonable place for a meeting point at/near the car park to meet you lot before we walk on to the stage ?

And, based on your previous trips, an approximate time?

Are the roads busy up to the parking area?

    Cheers

    Lee

Lee, we should get there just before 9 I would have thought as we won't all be in scoobs. Not really any where nearby, all narrow roads. Just be at the butty van and you will see us :D :D

After chat with Kev today think best to meet just that little bit earlier so we can get a bit closer to stage and shorten the walk from carpark.

So 7:45am depart from Tickled trout

List is getting big, should be a good day out.
Remember your brolly and boots

For those who haven't been before you park on a forest road (well partly on the road partly on grass verge) so don't feel you have to take the scoob, we won't be.

I shall be joining at Jnc 35 M6 and catching you up, like last year  I might even be organised and ring Kev to find out where you all are in the morning.
Bringing both lads this year  as if one wasn't a handful in the snow.

If you all fancy a bit of a further walk away from the Burger van  then I know a good spot where alot make the mistake of not cutting the crest into a 3 right and hitting the banking (or rolling and stopping the stage like 2 years ago!)

  11. Andy,
Kev won't be travelling with us this year as he's a marshal and has to get there early.
Sounds like a good spot to head for  .
You have PM with a number.

Will it snow like last year 8) :?

It does depend whether they run the stage clockwise or anti-clockwise for my favourite spot  Last year was anti-clockwise so wouldn't have been any off's, but still a good viewing spot
