    Hi all (Again!)

After selling my Blob STi earlier this year due to a possible job change I ended up buying a Golf GTi.
I ended up staying at my current place of employment so went on a modding spree on the Golf. I put quite a bit of money and time into it & when I had it how I wanted I decided that I missed an Impreza so went on the lookout for one again.

I wanted one that was as standard as possible & either in Blue or Black.

Eventually I found one at a Garage (It was over priced but they gave me oer the odds on my Golf & I got some cash back in the deal.)

Anyway the car is a 2001 Bug WRX, 87000 miles with full service history. Standard appart from the alloys & PPP.

I was meant to be taking it to Brian at CAMS to have the brakes looked at as it felt like the caliper was sticking, But after using it for a few days the brakes seemed to pack in altogether so ended up having to have discs, pads & 2 calipers fitted at work.

Been busy ordering bits off Ebay,
Waiting for them to be painted and fitted but with constantly working it may take a while :(

Also had the windows tinted last Saturday

    From this

    Side markers also turned up

Along with one thing that I have always wanted on my last 3 Impreza but never got round to buying one

New wheels also got ordered this week

Ordered my wheels last week. Collected them in Tuesday

Fitted them first thing Wednesday morning

Then Thursday was the day to go and see Jake for the big changes
Arrived about 9:30 am & after a quick brew we made a start in stripping the car.

Roof lining dropped and flap bracket offered up to check where needed cutting

Once the inner skin was marked out we made some pilot points to start the drilling.

    On to the drilling part

Jake then proceded to make the starter cuts which would allow access with the air saw

Hole cut & inner mounting bracket fitted

Rubber outer seal fitted & siliconed in place to make sure of no chance of leaks

    Flap bolted to roof

Then proceded to fit the inner trim part

Once the flap was fitted it was time for a bit more stripping down of the car

Once all the parts were stripped off it was time for some masking of the rear pillars & drill them to allow some Rivnuts to be fitted into them

    Rear window spoiler now fitted

Then the Genuine STi Rear spoiler got fitted

Next it was time to install the new headlights. These proved to be a right pain in the ass with the HID kit to wire in.

JDM Front grill also got fitted once the lights were fully in and working.

Next was the STi bonnet vent and undertray to be fitted to complete the look of the front end

SBy this time it was getting late so the STi skirts got but on and the car off the ramp for a quick pic

Awww Look at the poorly white one in the background
    [IMG]

Outside for some more pics before it goes fully dark

That was only 1 cut just to make a starter hole, The rest was done with fine air saw.

When im not being charged and it took just over an hour with us both working on it I cant really complain.
