As far as products are concerned , if you use Zymol,Swissol(Swissvax),Clearkote,Meguirs Professional,Sonus,Poorboys,Menzerna,Chemical Guys or Victoria Wax , then you won't go far wrong .
I'll post up another thread on polishing & waxing another time when I get chance....

Just connected up my speedo on a car which has been sat for 5 years without the lower cable fitted in the box.

The speedo just flickers erratically around the 100 kmh Mark when driving.

If I remove the cable from the box and turn by hand the needle on the speedo works fine and freely
