Im just lucky that i can do stuff myself that would other wise cost alot more and probably stop me doing it. Ive priced up two new wings also, but at nearly £400 they will have to wait. Jake
Cheers, Looking forward to the new power tbh, as my last widetrack was like 360bhp, but this being a wrx it will be quicker with 320-330. In other news this arrived. Making my own monster intake, after speaking to anothe scoobynet member who did the same. While the cars over at Scoobyspares im having a mint v7 sti trim and a set of sti clocks, call me what you will but there just bits i miss off my old cars.
Well cars at scoobyspares having the upgradea done, then mapping on sat, Took all the interior bar front seat out ready for the sti trim. Jake
Just going for a blue v7 sti trim, the only wr1/spec c seats i can find are over £500 Andrew carr mapped the car for me, Also fitted a switch for 95/99 ron so i have a 1bar/1.4bar boost. Said its over 330 bhp so cant wait to pick it up tomorrow.
So picked the car up today, Andrew Carr's done a great job mapping it. Also picked up a v7 sti trim and a rather rare s202 steering wheel, Jake
Well cleaned the interior again, really happy with it now, Then decided i better get the horn working, so made a bracket with a tail off it, this contacts the back of the wheel and allows the horn to work.
With the added power i decided to change all the fluids, even though they haven't even done a thousand miles i wanted some better products in there. Quick call to as performance and these arrived the day after. The oil filter, fuel filter and pollen filter were from the local motor factors. Then i decided to swap out the scabby strut brace for one i had saved from ages ago. Would like to dress the bay a bit but that can wait Jake
