I felt I had to say a few words in memory of Rob, as he was the one that told me about a new club in Lancashire that had just started up and would I like to go along to a meet, that club was obviously LADS. I rememeber Rob at those first CADS/SIDC meetings as he went out of his way to talk to me and make me feel welcome and join in the chats with everyone. Then a few years ago, he came to me and asked would we/LADS be interested in doing a show in Southport called RAF Woodvale and that he would organise it for us, of course I said yes and that show has been one of the best events we have attended as a club ever since. Rob had organised it for us every year since. We shall continue to do this event in memory of Rob. All our thoughts are with Rob's family at this very sad time. R.I.P Rob I thought I'd add a few pics of Rob I've found, this is Rob (3rd from the right) at an early rolling road at Prosport. I posted this pic up in memory of Nigel only a few days ago, but Rob is also on it, celebrating our win. This is Robs first Scooby at a meeting, where his user name came from. And his second, the black WRX which he loved at Burnley campus last year. Please feel free to add your memories of Rob or anyone else in this section from the Subaru community.
As allready mentioned in the other post ,, genuine top bloke !! spent some time talking to him last year at woodvale , just wanted to say my thoughts go out to his family !
Spoken with Rob a few times over the years at Woodvale. Great guy who will be sadly missed. R.I.P Rob
Sleep well Rob One of the first we ever spoke to at a show - Woodvale of course, which was also our first event with the club!
LADS continued attendance at Woodvale would be a fitting tribute to Rob and his passion for the marque. R.I.P Mean and Green until we all meet again
