Welcome to LADS

The beginnings of LADS can be traced back to the early part of 2003 when a small group of Subaru enthusiast met online and discussed the idea of creating a new Lancashire based Subaru owners club. The 1st meeting took place on the 29th November 2003 at the Duke of Wellington pub in Haslingden, as the club got bigger we moved to Holden Vale in Rossendale, however due to outgrowing that location as well we now hold our monthly meetings at the Boddington Arms pub, Myerscough Smithy road, Balderstone, Blackburn, BB2 7LE, on the A59 towards Clitheroe.

During the last 5 years since that first meeting LADS has evolved from its humble beginning into a club with approx 200 subscribing members, its own website, newsletter, monthly meetings, organised motoring events and family days out, continuing to grow in both stature and aspirations.

Getting to know each other and making friends is a very important ingredient in the Clubs successful recipe. We always find the best way to get to know each other better is to take part in one of the organised Summer Camp n’ Drive or weekend motor shows where families are encouraged to join in and get to know each other better? Here you can relax, have a few drinks and enjoy a hearty BBQ in the company of like-minded souls.

Today LADS is one of the largest and most active clubs in the north of England and continues to work as hard as ever to ensure we can offer that little bit extra for our members. With more frequent events including Karting, Treasure Hunts, Rallying events, Rolling Road days and attendance and stands at local and national shows, the success of the club shows no sign of waning. All this in addition LADS regular attendance at Scooby Shootout, Ten of the best, The Rally Show at Chatsworth House and the NBO to mention but a few!
